While the strain is a strong Sativa hybrid, the Jack Herer strain ensures that the user is still lucid and in full control of their actions. The quick acting high is fairly mellow and offers a very pleasant body and mind buzz. For some users, they may feel a huge reduction in their anxieties, worries or troubles.
Where jack comes into its own is when you spend the day socialising, brainstorming or hitting the gym. The energising high is perfect for a sunny morning, and less ideal for the evening time.

The Jack Herer strain is named after the author of the 1985 book The Emperor Wears No Clothes and longtime cannabis activist, Jack Herer.
The strain was produced by Sensi Seeds in honour of the legend and has gone on to lay the foundations to other extremely popular dutch strains (Jack the Ripper and Jack Skellington).
The exact process Sensi Seeds took to create Jack is a well held secret but some speculate that it is a cross between Northern Lights #5, Shiva Skunk an an unknown Haze strain.
Whatever Sensi Seeds did, it worked. The Jack Herer Strain is the holder of 9 Cannabis cup titles; that is some going.
Let’s be honest here, Jack isn’t much to look at. The strain is green and slightly more tightly packed than you’d expect a Sativa to be.
Other than the sticky outer layer of trichomes there is nothing else that makes the Jack Herer strain stand out.
